November 11, 2019

A few months ago I decided to go grey. I wasn’t talking about getting a trending new hair colour or going for some highlights – I meant “going grey gracefully” and embracing my natural grey hairs. It hasn’t been easy, since today I realised I […]

ANXIETY & OVULATION | Trying For Baby Number Two (Beyond 35)

September 12, 2018

Parenting Through Anxiety: A Mentally Ill Motherhood

April 7, 2018

For as long as I’ve been a mother I’ve had anxiety.  To me, motherhood and anxiety are one and I don’t see a horizon on this tumultuous sea of worry. People love to tell you that anxiety comes with being a parent.  Mums and dads […]

I’m A Horrible Mum Because Anxiety Makes Me Angry

March 11, 2018

[Trigger Warning] This week was not great.  In fact, many days aren’t that great.  Maybe I’m exaggerating, but when I’ve had a really challenging experience –  my baby has, well, cried and I’ve lost the plot – I can’t help but write the day off […]

10 Ways I’m Treating My Post Natal Anxiety

September 5, 2017

I’m Not Okay and That’s Okay: My Postnatal Anxiety

May 10, 2017

Mental illness can happen to any one, any time – no one is immune.  Yet for some reason mental illness remains a stigma; often mocked and not taken seriously.  Women who have recently given birth are an at risk group vulnerable to post-natal depression, but lack of […]

Inferiority-Popularity Complex | Blogger Problems

November 12, 2015

I wrote this piece about a month ago, that I later decided I wouldn’t post.  This is what I’m like: writing is my therapy.  I go through phases of emotions and big life questioning that I’ll get over and may or may not revisit.  I call it ‘life lethargy’. […]

Depression | Seduction of Melancholy

December 15, 2013

I’m going to be honest with you: I’m not always the smiling the face you see in my pictures.  In fact, many days it’s such an effort being that person that it affects everything I do, right down to creating blog posts.  Sometimes it’s painful […]

So I drove somewhere new (not even that far but I still ended up navigating to a no entry 🤦🏻‍♀️), discovered a cute little place to take Reuben to, and chatted and laughed for hours about life as Instagramming, blogging lingerie ambassadors. 👙

It was the school’s colour run on Saturday which was to honour a recently passed member of the PTA and raise money for cancer. It was a scorching day, bright sun and so fun. Loved the huge paint fight with everyone. 😄

ad | Sunday chilling with my new happy pal 🌻 🙂

This cheerful flower pot dude has been a welcome addition to the household. He isn’t just adorable though, he’s a functional Warmies plush!

Weighted and scented with lavender for a calming moment, microwave for a warming cuddle or pop him in the freezer for a cool down. As a plushie, he’s so soft and lovely to feel, it’s wonderful quality.

In all honesty, if it has a cute face, I’ll love ‘em 🥰

Thanks to the lovely folk at @warmies_official for sending me this.
Cleaned up on the school fair on Saturday. 🤩 We Cleaned up on the school fair on Saturday. 🤩 We won on the big raffle (one of the smaller prizes of a Sunday dinner for 2 - woo hoo! 🙌 ) and Reuben enjoyed the kids fun stalls, especially getting to soak a friend, get loads of sweets and winning a Diary of a Wimpy Kid book that he actually didn’t have already. And it didn’t rain, which was great! What an awesome school we have. 😊
