I’m A Horrible Mum Because Anxiety Makes Me Angry

March 11, 2018

[Trigger Warning] This week was not great.  In fact, many days aren’t that great.  Maybe I’m exaggerating, but when I’ve had a really challenging experience –  my baby has, well, cried and I’ve lost the plot – I can’t help but write the day off […]

I keep thinking it’s Wednesday already and I’v I keep thinking it’s Wednesday already and I’ve had a migraine and IBS sort of day. How’s your week going? 😆

This pic is from yesterday when we popped in to see the new tavern at Beamish.

Beamish. Pumpkins, queuing for chips and chips. 🎃 Walked loads. It was really quite cold but the sun shone. Perfect Autumn aesthetic. Wish we opted for pasties instead.

What else do you do when you feel like sofa rotting? Go see the Christmas stuff of course. Went to Mainsgill Farm off the A66 and found a wonderland (kinda). Bought a few bits cos it’s the necessary unnecessary.

The clocks will be going back before we know it. 🍂

Went to the deer park at Studley Royal (Ripon) at the weekend. Rutting season’s coming so it sounds like Jurassic Park with the bellowing bucks and stags. 🦌 It was a really nice Autumnal day scented with sweet chestnuts and turning leaves; sunny with a cosy cardi on. ☺️

The past few weeks Sean’s car’s been off the r The past few weeks Sean’s car’s been off the road and I’ve been the main driver of the household. It’s been a game changer for getting me up to speed. It’s pushed me to drive, for one 😂. Do the school runs both ways. Shopping. I’m actually enjoying driving again, even though I keep making mistakes. Stalling trying to leave my drive 😂 Parking badly. LOL. It’s been wiping me out too. Crazy how mentally exhausting driving is plus I’m working with the challenges of fibromyalgia and hypermobility pain too. I love my little Suzuki Swift but I’ve started looking at getting a newer version, considering whether an automatic may be the way forward with managing my health conditions. The amount of times my poor knee clicks with the clutch. 😭

Thoughts on an automatic then, folks?

Oh and enjoy this pic - taken the other day when I’d left the house and was about to get in my car still holding my cup of tea. What a plonker. 😂
