Whoever said Summer is the season for wearing white forgot about the mountain hare.  He was donning his Winter whites long before anyone made the glacial colour a Summer staple.

White brightens up the dark Winter palette that’s otherwise awash with dreary browns and greys; an injection of light into the murky and mundane.  Accessorising is the perfect way to wear white, accenting a casual outfit as easy as workwear.

I’m such a bag fiend and enjoy shopping for a new bag at least every season!  I found a gorgeous white bag online at Tesco by the Florence & Fred range.  A simple satchel style bag, it can be worn long on the shoulder or over the body.   The gold colour twist lock and hardware adds a contrasting warmth to the sharp brightness of the white.

Matching the same look I have a beautiful Michael Kors watch; a large, round glossy gold bezel on a white leather strap.  I love wearing these two pieces together for a polished style.
