UK Lingerie Awards Finalist: Maison Close

The UK Lingerie Awards will shortly be upon us, with the grand awards evening now little over two weeks away! There is a small amount of tickets still available if you don’t want to miss an exquisite evening of unadulterated lingerie love.

One of the finalists vying for the coveted Boudoir Lingerie Brand of the Year title and the UK’s Favourite Lingerie Brand in the public vote is French Maison Close, a brand whose collections aim to please in the bedroom and beyond. I’ve always considered Maison Close a quality name, their lingerie always beautifully designed and seductive. Sexy garments can too easily look trashy and cheap, I’m turned on by the thrill of fine lace and shapes more artful than obvious.

I thought I would compile my definitive Maison Close lust list, showcasing the pieces I find best represent the brand, and what I most love.

Alluring lace is hugely provident in Maison Close’s collections. The delicate lace of the Villa Satine cuffs offset the fierce, bondage inspired insinuation, whilst the art deco looking lace feature of the Soie Cherie shorty briefs teases with it’s prominent overt flesh exposure.

Sublime Luxure‘s Bodice is a classical style suspender basque with a less structured look, lent by the lace soft cups and seductive side lace paneling. In contrast, the Villa Cancan bustier’s more fashion conscious lines and sheer mesh make a trend led statement.

The naked body from the Villa Des Lys collection is beautifully provocative. The luscious deep plunging neckline of this all over lace body suit would feel super sexy to wear.
