Madame Supertrash Luxe Lingerie | Lace Cami

July 7, 2014

supertrash_sidedown Madame Supertrash made great waves at the UK Lingerie Awards, achieving finalist recognition in both the Boudoir Lingerie brand category and New Designer of the Year.  The success of 2013 may have been only the beginning of the luxe lingerie label but with a designer pedigree behind it, Supertrash’s baby, Madame Supertrash had already staked it’s claim within the attainable luxury bracket. With bra sizes European 70-85 (UK 32-38) A-E Madame Supertrash marginally broaches the D+ market.  Whilst it’s not particularly a bra brand for the fuller bust, there is a stunning range of knickers, slips and bodies – and even the odd nipple tassel – for those of us with bigger bosoms who covet the design and still want to buy into the brand. Quality construction is the presiding ethos of the garments; the use of beautiful and strong fabrics combined with metal furnishings, including the ‘ST’ branding placement.  The look is understated yet well put together.  Cutting edge and classy. supertrash_cami_window   supertrash_close_logo Madame Supertrash sent me the Vintage Lace Cami Garter from the Tap Shoe collection in a size Large (according to my body, I’d make it a 12-14).  The body features a scooping camisole top; an elastic stitched bust shelf with wide vest straps, finished off with fixed suspender straps for the attachment of stockings. A block front torso panel breaks up the otherwise heavy lace style which gives the body flattering elongation.  It also creates a playful peekaboo effect, not revealing the entirety of skin through lace.  The bust panel is, however, all sheer lace, allowing the beauty of nipple to entice, arouse and enjoy centre stage. supertrash_figure_edit supertrash_hairside_edit Being a big boobed lass, the cami wasn’t sufficiently capable without my need to pull the elasticated seam under my bustline, which in effect caused a lower scoop than the vest was typically created for.  Not absolutely bothersome, but a little more boob room would be awesome.  The cami was otherwise gorgeous to wear.  The stretch lace fitted well, the front panel was super silky and the suspender clips were solid and secure. supertrash_side I’m a sucker for metal trims and laces so I’m completely drawn to discovering more Madame Supertrash goodness.  I have my eye on the glamorous black Contemporary Lace Dress and the Electric Blue Vintage Lace Hipster Brief.
