Kris Line European Lingerie

October 12, 2014

Kris Line has been designing and producing their own lingerie for over twenty years, but with its roots in Eastern Europe, they’re a little known brand in the UK.

Although there are some boutiques and specialist online stores retailing Kris Line lingerie, the company aim to put the brand more firmly on the map, focussing their attention on meeting the needs of the Brits on a broader scale.

“Polish based lingerie brands are coming up with the goods”

It’s always cautious treading where bra shopping is concerned, especially so when buying from foreign brands who use different sizing methods.  But Polish based lingerie brands are coming up with the goods for us busty ladies; offering ample G+ sizes and fashion designs to choose from, it’s a corner of the lingerie industry taking the full bust market by storm.

When Kris Line approached me they were so friendly and accommodating.  Language played no barrier with discussing sizing and product choice, with meant my sample review order went smoothly.

Enquiring about the European to UK size conversion, I was advised to go up in the cup for Kris Line, so instead of a 30GG, I was to request a 30H (the European 65H).

I chose this season’s new Letizia collection for its sumptuous design and Autumnal colouring, and so I was sent the 30H padded balconette bra and midi brief in a medium.

The Look

Styled on a base colour of black, a flocked baroque style pattern overlays the front of the bra and the mushroom brown cups.  The front of the straps are adorned with a fancy embroidery, and an exotic tassel trims the central gore.

The bra is padded in the two bottom sections of the cup, whilst the top section remains unpadded.  An unusual elastication runs along the underside of the top of the cups, which smooths out and ensures a fitted finish.

The all stretch briefs feature the coordinating flocked design to the front, with sheer side panels detailing a floral flock and a plain back.

The Fit

The 30H bra is a perfect corresponding fit to a 30GG, which means sizing up a cup size from your usual size is all that is in order.

Both the bra and briefs feel comfortable to wear.  The bra band fits snugly and the cups are perfectly encasing.  The briefs look tiny but stretch to a good fit typically of a UK12.

I found the straps to be on the short side as I needed to adjust to the full extent of the strap.

The straps also sit far apart on my shoulders which I do find odd as I am slightly broad.  The wide design means the overall effect of the bra is somewhat flattening, it doesn’t give me uplift or a rounded shape, instead spreading my boobs out flat.

 My Thoughts

Letizia is a beautiful design – sophisticated and sumptuous.  And the colour palette in soft earthy tones makes this is a lovely set for the Autumn Winter season.

Whilst the design and shape is slightly off in terms of the strap placement and length, I’m really pleased this bra actually fits.  I’ve tried some European brands where it’s been an exhausting task getting the size conversion right, so it appears Kris Line is much simpler to buy.  Now I know my size – 30H up from a 30GG – I can experiment with the vast choice Kris Line offers.

I absolutely love Kris Line and the design of this bra is so nice. I’ve only tried their padded/lined styles, but this makes me want to try the softer versions too.

Hi Hillary, you can get quite a few Kris Line collections from Brastop.com actually, including this bra, which I believe is on sale. Hope that helps!
