It’s Valentine’s Day! Loved up couples up and down the country will now be exchanging cards and gifts on the most romantic day of the year, with bouquets of roses starting the day for many. What a bum deal if you’re a singleton!

But you know what? As lovely and cute as the notion of Valentine’s Day is, it’s not exactly the most sporadic of gestures to present to your better half. And one day out of 365 to show your love for your life partner? Rip off! It’s far more meaningful to shower the love of your life with gifts and kisses more than once a year and at a time we aren’t told to do it.

If I’ve made you single ladies feel a bit better about spending Valentine’s without a love interest (or made you loved up ladies a bit miffed) I have a better suggestion: buy yourself a little something to show you a little bit of love – something we don’t do much of at all!

I compiled a wish list of some beauties I would quite like to treat myself to – or if my OH wants to treat me – hey! I’m not totally against the holiday of lovers!
