Dare To Take The Plunge?
Christmas Day now within peeking distance, it’s time to think about your festive season party wardrobe, if you haven’t already. With Christmas and New Years to celebrate, this is the perfect time of year to frock up in your most dazzling, ‘all-eyes-on-me’ outfit. I love browsing the fashion retailer websites for inspiration on what to wear, and styling up your best bits is the sure way to feel confident and fab on your night out.
This year plunging necklines are proving to be one of the hottest looks to rock. According to a recent survey carried out by Wonderbra, over half of us 18-35 year olds will be opting for a plunging party outfit this year. As an hour glass shape, I love figure hugging dresses that compliment my curves and this year I’m really into the plunging style.
Holly Willoughby “Best Celebrity Plunging Cleavage” by Wonderbra Voters |
For the UK Lingerie Awards earlier this month I dared to bare – just short of all – in a plunging bustier style dress. As I naturally have close set boobs giving me a natural cleavage line, I got away with going bra-less, but for a ‘safer’ plunge without the risk of wardrobe malfunction and to give an added lift, a bra is always going to be the answer. I had actually tried looking for one which answered all the problematic points such as being strapless and most importantly, invisible at the central gore, but my search proved fruitless.
This month, right in time for the party season, Wonderbra has launched the New Ultimate Plunge Bra – with it’s unique deep cut out centre gore, solving the need for uplift together with a daring plunge. If you’ve ever tried to wear a deep V you’re probably already familiar with the dilemma. Thankfully the soon-to-be lingerie drawer staple is set to free us from the choice of wearing a bra (and seeing it) and going without.
