The dedicated day of love returns in less than a month for its annual excuse to gush gestures of admiration – and spend lots on our significant other or fancy thing.  Yep, it’s Valentine’s Day!

Valentine’s gifts are too often tacky and tasteless, and I wanted to bring something to the blog that is truly beautiful and yet functional as a perfect February 14th token.  Freya’s Deco Darling caught my eye instantly, and so I was sent the moulded balcony bra (30GG), suspender belt (m), brief (m) and thong (m).

Freya’s Deco line is massively popular with busty girls and for very good reason.  The lingerie pieces are completely wearable with silky soft fabric and unbeatable fit being the biggest advantages.  The range is frequently updated with new colourways and slightly tweaked designs, with the Deco Darling being the most stand-out, boudoir ready set yet.

Black and blush pink Deco Darling features the synonymous lightly padded, moulded cup overlaid with a contemporary rose embroidered design.  The cups are a distant cry from Deco’s usual seam-free line, with the Deco Darling instead showcasing raised stitching on mesh fashioned with darts.  Clearly a more luxe version, this extra special set is trimmed with bows and teardrop jewels.

The bra fits particularly well, despite Deco’s tendency for two hook fastening which can be off putting on some full bust bras.  Not so with Deco, as the fit is fully supportive.  I love the fully stretch, adjustable straps which this time are of a ribbed, grosgrain effect which lends to the overall luxurious styling.

The brief and thong both feature smooth deep comfort waist bands that are a supreme improvement on the typical elasticated waist band.  These bottoms leave no VPL and drape softly due to their seam-free cut.  More knickers like these, please!
