Cleo Della For Feisty Fuller Busts
I’m loving what the lingerie industry is offering the fuller bust consumer these days but I can happily admit that it’s an area guilty of pigeon holing. Heaps of ‘grown up’ looking lingerie can feel overwhelming, and frankly, boring. Whoever said a larger busted gal can’t have the same fun that’s too often reserved for the sub Ds?
So when a brand brings out a design that is everything a twee bra isn’t, I love it! Cleo by Panache are one of my personal favourite brands because they’re youthful, don’t take themselves too seriously and do give a stuff about big boobs.
** Panache gifted me the Cleo Della balcony bra (30H) and deep suspender brief (14) **
Della is a collection that’s feisty and fun and, essentially, a fuller bust’s dream. A bubblegum pink and fawn leopard print, this eye popping colour way is contrasted with jet black sheer mesh for a strong, feminine look.
Della’s underwired balcony style bra is non-padded and styled in a way that offers a rounded shape with uplift and front projection. Wiring is deep without being high, so it doesn’t dig in under armpits or cause any rubbing.
Della reminds me of Tutti Rouge’s Nichole, with its unpadded mesh and the contrast black piping that runs around the wiring. It looks vaguely similar, but the two bras don’t really have anything else in common.
The straps are semi-adjustable, which goes against my usual preference for fully adjustable straps, but I find in this case (even though I need them adjusted quite near the end as my bust sits quite low on my body) they work well with the fabrication of the bra. The band closes on two hooks, which again, isn’t consistent with my three hook preference, but Della’s overall fit is so spot on, all that has gone right out of the window. I’ve worn Della for several days on and off and it’s worn completely without irritation and feels so good to wear.
The deep brief is a gorgeous piece of lingerie that pairs perfectly with the bra. It’s a flattering full brief cut that sits high across the tummy, so they’re comfy as well as cute! The front animal print panel is accented with black mesh that carries round to the bottom, so they’re light and easy to wear. These knickers also feature four slim detachable suspender clips so you have the option to add a pair of stockings if you so wish.
We may only be in February but already I’m feeling Della is onto bra of the year. It’s everything I want from my underwear: it looks amazing, fits amazing and feels amazing. And who doesn’t love a bit of animal print pants on patrol?!
** PR Gifted in return for my honest, unbiased opinion. **
Come on then, what’s your opinion of animal print? Love it or loathe it? What’s your experience of Cleo? Has Della tempted you?

Would you pick the Della over the Hettie in terms of fit, comfort and shape?

March 17, 2016 at 11:33 pmDella looks aweeesome on you and those briefs look superb indeed!
It reminded me of Nichole as well, especially the leopard print SS16 version!
I had the chance to try a AW16 sample size (32E) of Della, but I experienced some wrinkling on top and when faking a 32DD by wrapping up the fabric, I got cutting in…so Della probably doesn’t work for me :/ Too bad, because the floral print of next season is gooorgeous and the suspender briefs are killer! I bet the new print will look gorgeous on you as well!

November 29, 2016 at 8:48 pmHi! Thanks so much for this review. How would you compare Della with Marcie? I love Marcie, and Della is currently on sale, hence the urge to try it! I’m a 30GG in Marcie.

November 29, 2016 at 11:32 pmHi, they’re both very similar bras but I personally found Della fit me better than Marcie. As far as I remember, Marcie was a little lower in the centre and the fabric is softer, but Della is a much firmer bra all over. I’d go for it if you’ve seen it on sale!

February 19, 2019 at 8:16 amHi
Just wondering how you found the suspenders briefs. When I have worn these sorts of knickers before with the straps I have found that the stockings pull them down over the day and I a constantly having to adjust and pull them back up. I’ve always found a firmer suspenders belt works better but i’d love the ease and convenience of knickers with the straps attached. Any advice/experience gratefully received! Thank you! Natasha
