Charnos bridal collection, Belle, is a classical design styled in sumptuous ivory satin and is heavily embellished with embroidered flowers and sequins on a sheer mesh.  The collection features a versatile padded multiway bra – which is available up to a G cup – that can be worn with straps or strapless, a matching french knicker or thong and a deep suspender belt, should you decide to wear stockings.

Charnos also cater for the traditional bridal garter which is a classic frill lace design, featuring the same sequin and embroidered detailing to complete the whole set.

I received the balcony bra in a 32G and both the knicker and suspender belt in a 12.  I don’t always wear a 32 band but I was so happy with the fit on trying the bra on.  It was comfortable and a firm hold, with a deep five hook and eye fastener at the back.  The padding is fairly thick but didn’t add unnecessary bulk, instead adding to the luxury feel of the bra.

The straps are fully adjustable with a decent length for movement.  There is a small amount of silicone grip running along the band and to the centre gore to aid security.  I don’t particularly like this on a bra I may never wear strapless, but obviously it needs to be for a bra intended so.  At least it doesn’t run along the wires of the cups as some strapless bras do.

Belle is a beautiful looking lingerie set, but not essentially my personal taste.  I find the sequins a little too much and feel they detract from the luxury feel.  However, I do love the amount of embroidery on the bottom section of the cups which really reflects an over the top indulgence. It’s your wedding, now is the time to let loose and look amazing in stunning lingerie!
