November 3, 2021

Just because you don’t see the disability, doesn’t mean it isn’t there. This is what I wish people would understand about the daily struggles I have as a person with chronic disabling conditions. Do you think people are looking at you like you’re a fraud? […]

May 11, 2021

To mark Fibromyalgia Awareness Day (12th May), I’m sharing an insight into my life as a fibro-fighting mum to a four year old, and why I worry I’m not the best example of a great mum. If I feared anything about becoming a parent, it […]

Raynaud’s Disease: How it Affects Me

October 14, 2012

Sean J Connolly Photography I’ve been a bit hesitant about writing this one.  It was actually my other half who suggested I write a piece about this.  Modelling lingerie and showing myself off semi clothed is something that’s not a huge deal to me, I […]

Mum’s been in hospital for a few months now with Mum’s been in hospital for a few months now with a diagnosis of CIDP. Had never even heard of it before. From what little I understand, it’s a chronic rare autoimmune disorder where the body attacks its own nerves, causing damage that affects feeling in hands and feet, reducing dexterity and mobility to practically nothing. It’s terrifying. 😟

Mum’s being such a fighter. Taking on all the rehab and treatments while having to rely on the nurses for doing anything. It’s heartbreaking to see her limited to her hospital bed with pain and uncomfortable sensations in her body. It’s literally the ultimate nightmare illness that sets to steal your independence and very wellbeing. 😢

But Mum is a warrior of faith 💪 who stands on scripture that boasts healing in the name of Jesus. 🗡️ 🛡️ So we’re praying for a full recovery with the hope that Mum will be back in her own home again soon.

Love you, Mum! ❤️

Comfy and cute is mandatory for droll days like this. ☁️ Fully stretch cotton with soft seams and deep elastic bands mean Oddballs crop tops and boxer briefs stay put and wear like a dream.

I adore the pants! They fit like a glove and are sooo comforting on period days when I need to wear a heat pad on my tummy.

Just need to request a fuller bust crop top cos my b(.)(.)bs need more snuggle room! 😄

Here’s something you may bump into me doing… b Here’s something you may bump into me doing… bargain shopping, charity shopping, thrift hauling, call it what you will. I love the thrill of shopping, always on the hunt for silly prices and getting a deal with a little “squee” dance when it hits the sweet spot.

Who else loves bargain shopping? 🛍️
